The 6,000-square-meter green roof at the Depot of the Public Electrical Buses Company was the first largest planted green roof in Greece for many years. The light type DIADEM-150 was used for the construction of the planted roof, while the rich variety of DIADEM complementary products helped to provide all the technical solutions to fully implement the demanding design of the study. Species where used for groundcover planting (such as turf, lantana camara), perennial herbaceous (lavender, artemisia etc.), climbing plants and many Mediterranean trees such as pine and olive trees.
