The design for the sloping green roof of the house in Avlona was carried out following faithfully the Bioclimatic Design of the architect of the project Mr. Kerasotis, giving the owners a harmonious environment in which to live. Well-thought architectural design in conjunction with Contemporary Roof Technology has resulted in reduced energy consumption for heating and cooling and the visual integration of the building with the landscape. Specialized materials of the DIADEM® Green Roof System, in particular the extensive type DIADEM-150, was selected for the infrastructure.
