Description
The green roof of the Athens College, a surface of approximately 2,500 square meters, is the largest green-roof school building in Greece and the first building in Greece to receive Platinum LEED, the highest distinction in this category. Extensive type DIADEM-150 was used for the construction of the planted roof and more than 20 different plant species were planted, such as sedum, aromatic plants, perennial herbaceous and grasses, while the total number of plants exceeded 10,000.
